ROBERT PABEN

Robert Paben, 54, Mexico, MO passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on December 11, 1971, the son of James Paben and Janet (Maynard) Woodworth. On September 20, 2013, he was united in marriage to Sara (Taylor) Paben.

In addition to his wife Sara of 12 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son Brett Paben of O’Fallon, MO; two daughters Kylie Paben of Jacksonville, IL and Bailey Oelke and her husband David of Camarillo, CA ; his father James Paben and his wife Cathy; his mother Janet Woodworth; one brother Mike Paben and his wife Tammy of Wayland, MO; one sister Kim Gann and her husband Tony of Carthage, IL; his grand-dog Finn; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends.

Rob owned and operated R&S Auto in Centralia, MO for several years. He also co-owned JJ’s Café in Centralia and Columbia, MO, with his wife Sara. He enjoyed working in his shop on cars and hot rods, boating, and travelling to Aruba. Rob was always willing to help anyone and loved spending time with his friends and family.
