RICHARD E. MILLER (WINKLER)
Richard E. Miller (Winkler), 45, Madison, MO passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026, in Kansas City, MO. He was born on November 14, 1980, in Mexico, MO the son of Julia Browning of Madison, MO. On May 2, 2009, in Illinois, he was united in marriage to Stephanie Howell.
He is survived by his mother Julia Browning and step father James Roslien of Madison, MO; his children daughter Aubree 15 and son Noah Miller 7 of Amarillo, TX; sisters Rhianna Miller Townsend (Jason) of Columbia, MO; Samantha Goff (Aaron) of Paris, MO, Victoria Winkler of Harrisburg, MO and Julia Apel of Madison, MO; brother James Winkler (Jamie) of Rush Hill, MO and brother/son Jayden (Lexi) of Madison, MO; grandchildren Jayde and Asher Winkler of Madison, MO; aunts Cindy Partain (Joe) Gravois Mills, AR, Debbie Jones (Jon) Auxvasse, MO and Lisa Deardorff of Farber, MO; uncles Lewis Browning (Becky) and Cloyd Browning (Renay) all of Auxvasse, MO; numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and close cousins; special friends Emily (Rain) Osborne and daughter Jalen of Bevier, MO. He was preceded in death by his older brother Eric Miller, his maternal grandparents James and Lucy Browning; uncle Robert (Jake) Browning; aunt Shiela Logan; and two cousins Leroy Browning and Jordan Rapps.
Rick was very artistic and he loved drawing and writing music lyrics. He had a passion for fixing up cars and installing audio equipment for resale and pleasure. Rick had to always look his best making him late for pretty much every family event, he did not like hunting, fishing or anything that would get his Nike’s dirty.
A celebration of life will be from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Monroe County 4-H Center in Paris, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Richard Miller Memorial Fund, payable to Julia Browning, c/o Oliver Funeral Home, P.O. Box 125, Centralia, MO 65240.
