RANKIN F. MARTIN

Rankin F. Martin, 71, Centralia, MO passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at the University of Missouri Hospital & Clinics in Columbia, MO. He was born October 29, 1952, in Keokuk, IA the son of the late Arthur and Melva Rae (Gingerich) Martin. On April 5, 1986, he was united in marriage to Lee Williams.

In addition to his wife Lee of 38 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter Gabrielle Martin of Mexico, MO; one son Lucas Martin of Centralia, MO; several brother and sister in laws; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, one brother Frank Love and two sisters Margaret June Stephenson and Patricia Stephenson preceded him in death.

Rankin worked as a virologist and serologist for the Veterinary Diagnostic Lab at the University of Missouri Veterinary School. He enjoyed fishing, working on his farm and loved taking February canoe trips with his wife Lee.
