ROSIE PEARL CORDWELL Rosie Pearl Cordwell, 85, Centralia, MO passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at the Pin Oaks Living Center in Mexico, MO. She was born December 11, 1936, the daughter of the late Leonard and Lillian (Swain) Veach. On June 9, 1957, she was united in marriage to Joe Cordwell. In addition to her husband Joe of 64 years, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons Darryl Cordwell and his wife Devon of Laddonia, MO and Curtis Cordwell and his wife Gayle of McDonald, TN; one daughter Sandy Eisele and her husband Jon of Centralia, MO; one sister Elsie Muzzin and her husband Geno of Tucson, AZ; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; many nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, her son Ed Cordwell and her brother William Veach preceded her in death. Pearl first worked as an elementary school teacher and taught in Philadelphia, PA and then Trenton, New Jersey after they were married, and later was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mexico Seventh-day Adventist Church and enjoyed sewing, gardening, puzzles, reading, cooking and baking. Pearl loved spending time with her family, especially all of her grandchildren. Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Sunday, April 3, 2022, at the Sunnydale Seventh-day Adventist Church near Centralia, MO. Interment will be in the Centralia City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until service time on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at the Sunnydale Seventh-day Adventist Church near Centralia, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mexico Seventh-day Adventist Church, c/o Oliver Funeral Home, P.O. Box 125, Centralia, MO 65240.
