MYRNA SUE WILSON

Myrna Sue Wilson, 84, Sturgeon, MO passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the Arbors in Jefferson City, MO. She was born on September 7, 1940, in Marshall, MO, the daughter of the late Milton and Vena Nadine (Murdock) Campbell. On September 1, 1962, she was united in marriage to William J. “Bill” Wilson, who preceded her in death on December 21, 2017.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son Derek Wilson and his wife Donna of Tucson, AZ; three grandchildren Candice Hubbard and her husband Aaron, Bailee Young and her husband Robert and Jaxan Wilson; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, one son Doug Wilson preceded her in death.

Sue first worked as a bookkeeper for a plumbing business in Columbia, MO for many years. Later she worked for Robertson Jewelers in Centralia, MO. She played competitive softball and bowling and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. She loved fishing, being outdoors and helping her husband Bill on the family farm.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Sturgeon, MO. Interment will be in Mt. Horeb Cemetery in Sturgeon, MO. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until service time on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Sturgeon, MO.
