GERALDINE V. TINKER

Geraldine Tinker, 85, Sturgeon, MO passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at her home. She was born May 6, 1940, in Columbia, MO the daughter of the late Russell and Alice (Ott) Neal. On November 11, 1960, she was united in marriage to Loyd Richard Tinker, who preceded him in death on March 17, 2018.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son Russell “Rusty” Tinker of Columbia, MO; one sister Myrtle Ritchie and her husband Bob of Centralia, MO; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

Geraldine first worked for State Farm Insurance, then the Sturgeon State Bank, later the Columbia Housing Authority and finally for the Callaway Bank. She was a member of the Sturgeon Baptist Church and enjoyed her church groups and spending time with her friends and family.

A celebration of life will be 11:00 am Friday, July 25, 2025, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Sturgeon, MO. Interment will be in the Mt. Horeb Cemetery in Sturgeon, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time on Friday, July 25, 2025, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Sturgeon, MO.
