Donna Stillman

1937 — January 9, 2024

DONNA JEAN STILLMAN Donna Jean Stillman, 86, Centralia, MO passed away peacefully at her home with her 3 children by her side on January 9, 2024, after a brief fight with cancer. Donna was born August 25, 1937, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Benjamin J. Blair and the late Eva May (Thompson) Blair. She graduated from East High School in Kansas City in 1955. On December 17, 1954, she was united in marriage to Richard Stillman, Sr. and became a military wife. She loved the military life, and it never left her heart. She worked at Centralia Cleaners for 22 years until her retirement. Anyone who met Donna knew she was a life-long avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. Her family knew not to plan anything on a Sunday when her beloved Chiefs were playing. She also enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and other birds, especially after filling the bird-bath with water. She enjoyed reading, putting puzzles together, and she played a mean game of rummy. However, her greatest joy came from her children and grandchildren. She loved them dearly. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters Debbie Branson of Fulton, MO and Dori (Tony) Burke of Columbia, MO; her son Rick Stillman, Jr. of St. Charles, MO; her six grandchildren Ricky (Billie) Branson, Monica (James) Ramer of Ashland, MO, Anthony Burke and Alex Burke both of Columbia, MO, Becky (Robert) Hill of New Bloomfield, MO and Kim (Matt) Oligschlaeger of St. Elizabeth, MO; her 12 great grandchildren Madalynn, Kaitlynn, Robert, Evalynn, Riley, Jaxx, Kynadie (Trevor), Shelby, Addie, Colby, Meranda (Shawn) and Brooke (Connor); 1 great-great granddaughter Rylan Grace and a great-great grandson, Walker Lee who is due in May 2024. She also leaves behind many friends, including very special friends Laurie Anzaldua and Patty Rios of the State of Texas. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Frank J. Blair, her granddaughter Natalie Lynn Burke and her son-in-law Bill Branson and her beloved cat “Sugar.” “She was kind, she was smart, and she was important.” Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Interment will be in Mt. Horeb Cemetery in Sturgeon, MO next to the love of her life Richard Stillman, Sr. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO.
