DONALD RAY “BREEZY” BURNETT

Donald Ray “Breezy” Burnett, 98, Centralia, MO went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at the Heritage Hall Nursing Center in Centralia, MO. He was born on October 3, 1927, in Audrain County, MO the son of the late Howard Ray and Norma Ellen (Key) Burnett. On May 8, 1949, he was united in marriage to Selma Mae (Williams) Burnett.

In addition to his wife Selma of 76 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter Janice Heaton and her husband Darwin of Centralia, MO; one son Gary Burnett of Hallsville, MO; two sisters Darlene McCowan of Columbia, MO and Marilynn Jett of Columbia, MO; three grandchildren Jennifer Holzbauer and her husband Greg, Amy Anspach and her husband Gary and Katrina Bradley; six great grandchildren Nathan Savich, Kaitlynn Landers and her husband Dillion, Konner Masterson and his wife Taylor, Jeremiah Bowen, Abby Bradley, and Hayden Bradley; ½ great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, his daughter Donna Ellen Burnett and several brothers and sisters preceded him in death.

Breezy lived around Centralia his whole life and was co-owner of Eastside Auto Service in Centralia, MO. He served his country in the United States Army. He loved travelling to their cabin at the Lake of The Ozarks and boating. He loved antique cars and attending auto auctions.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday, February 2, 2026, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Interment will be in the Centralia City Cemetery in Centralia, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time on Monday, February 2, 2026, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO.
