DAVID E. BRINK

David E. Brink, 79, Sturgeon, MO passed away Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital in Columbia, MO. He was born September 1, 1946, in Sturgeon, MO, the son of the late John and Gladys Aileen (Martin) Brink. On December 2, 1965, he was united in marriage to Georgia L. (Herrin) Brink, after they met in high school over 60 years ago.

In addition to the love of his life, his wife Georgia of 59 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son John David Brink and Kristi of Bucklin, MO; one daughter Tina Woods and Marty of Madison, MO; two sisters Theresa Brink of Hallsville, MO and Carol Chick of Macon, Mo and; one granddaughter Shelby Woods and Omeka Vaisagote; a great granddaughter Soala Vaisagote; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, one brother Lester Brink and two sisters Mary Sherrick and Wanda Baize preceded him in death.

David served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the Centralia VFW Post 6276, the American Legion and enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on things and spending time with his friends and family.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Sturgeon, MO. Interment will be in the Mt. Horeb Cemetery in Sturgeon, MO. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm till service time on Wednesday, September 24,2025,5 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Sturgeon, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt.
