ARTHUR EARL PULIS

Arthur Earl Pulis, 82, Centralia, MO passed away Friday, June 5, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 18, 1943, in Mexico, MO the son of the late Arthur and Beulah (Mauk) Pulis. On July 20, 1962, he was united in marriage to Winona (Worsham) Pulis.

In addition to his wife Winona of 63 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three daughters Lori Pulis and Ron Stuart of Columbia, MO, Linda Palmer and Eddie of Columbia, MO and Lisa Pulis of Somerset, KY; one brother Wesley Pulis and Donna of Centralia, MO; one sister Patsy Hunter of Centralia, MO; seven grandchildren Dakota Palmer, Austin Stuart, Arrianne Palmer, Rachael Stuart, Makayla Scott and Dustin, Samuel Cole Williamson and Hattie Williamson; two great grandchildren Evie Scott and Arie Scott; an honorary son Michael Welch and Melissa and their two children Henley and Rhys of Centralia, MO; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, three sisters Lois Blair, Lola Slater and Joyce Schwartz, one nephew Henry Blair and nieces Betty Jo Slater and Pam Wyatt preceded him in death.

Earl first worked for the City of Mexico, then A.B. Chance Co in Centralia, MO, later for Green Acres in Centralia, MO, then for Diversified Plastics and final for Henderson Implement Co. He was a member of the Centralia Church of Christ and enjoyed restoring antique tractors, working on all types of equipment and he loved farming.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Interment will be in the Centralia City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until service time on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, c/o Oliver Funeral Home, P.O. Box 125, Centralia, MO 65240.
